La Resoluci\u00f3n de Problemas Matem\u00e1ticos es una actividad compleja en la que intervienen diferentes procesos cognitivos y metacognitivos. Objetivo. Estudiar cu\u00e1les de estos pro-cesos est\u00e1n m\u00e1s relacionados con la Resoluci\u00f3n de Problemas Matem\u00e1ticos as\u00ed como averiguar qu\u00e9 variable predice mejor la capacidad para resolver problemas. Muestra. Participaron en la investiga-ci\u00f3n 82 estudiantes de tercero de Primaria de 8 a\u00f1os de edad. Se evalu\u00f3 la Inteligencia, la Memoria de trabajo, la memoria a corto plazo, la Comprensi\u00f3n Lectora, las Operaciones Aritm\u00e9ticas y la Resoluci\u00f3n de Problemas Matem\u00e1ticos. An\u00e1lisis. Se realizaron correlaciones entre las variables ana-lizadas y an\u00e1lisis de \u00a0regresi\u00f3n. Resultados. Los an\u00e1lisis de regresi\u00f3n mostraron que el mejor cono-cimiento de las operaciones aritm\u00e9ticas es el mejor predictor en la resoluci\u00f3n de problemas mate-m\u00e1ticos.
