Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n

The objective of this article is to underline the importance of oral tradition, in this case, zoomed in on the great social stories of cheats and lies.
\nThe cheating context of the stories has been renewed, and it\u2019s criteria for the inclusion has been considered by Bennett (1976), to be able to talk about the visibility of tactical cheating. From the analysis we see that fairytales are filled with cheats and lies in nearly all the forms that are collect-ed in the Royal Spanish Academy Dictionary: \u201cSay or manifest the opposite of what you know, believe or think, introduce an error, fake or manipulate, falsify something. The intention of cheat-ing and lies varies from personal benefits, having fun, save pride, escape from aggression and increase self-worth. The connotation or the value which we give a liar goes from both the negative point: traitor, malicious, liar, passing to joker until we reach the positive pole where it can be con-sidered as astute, clever and intelligent.
