The aim of our\u00a0study is to clarify some questions about the consequences that the use and especially the abuse of\u00a0Information and Communication Technology can be generating in our younger population, and propose alternatives and educational answers, in order to prevent and guide young people and their\u00a0families.<br \/>\nIn the present work, we analyze the relationship between the difficulties that arise in the adolescent\u00a0ability to concentrate -measured across the variable \u00bb I have trouble concentrating\u00bb &#8211; and the use and abuse of computer (Internet, chats, games &#8230;) Once the results are obtained we cross them with gender, grade and academic level items.<br \/>\nThe sample was of 2,063 students from 107 class groups in 27 schools, and it is representative\u00a0of the population studied: students enrolled in Burgos (province and capital) in courses that include\u00a0ages 10 to 18.<br \/>\n<strong>Keywords<\/strong>:\u00a0Abuse, New
