To achieve our main\u00a0goal we used a sample of 100 Portuguese adolescents, aged between 12 and 19 years old, from the\u00a0centre region of Portugal. The data collection instruments were the Portuguese Scale of Parental\u00a0Educational Styles-version for children and the Portuguese adaptation of the Self \u2013 Reported\u00a0Antisocial Behaviour \u2013 SRA. Using a Socio-demographic Questionnaire, information was also collected\u00a0on the individual attributes and contextual variables (e.g., age, school grade, gender, family\u00a0structure and parents\u2019 profession). Our results point to an inverse relationship between positive parenting\u00a0style and adolescent antisocial behaviour. Furthermore, results revealed that there are no differences\u00a0in the perception of parenting styles considering socio-economic status or age. However,\u00a0these variables show an effect on certain deviant behaviours. Some implications for\u00a0intervention\/prevention programs focusing on deviant behaviour are discussed.<br \/>\n<strong>Keywords:<\/strong> Parenting styles, Antisocial behaviour,
