In the present paper we have focused on Music Education as a driving force for learning in Primary School. To get to the point, we carried out a theoretical approach on the influence of cognitive processes in music education, emphasizing on solfeggio as a fundamental resource. In addition, we provide an instructional design for solfeggio learning in third cycle in Primary School, focusing on those cognitive processes involved in the learning process.<br
