Estudantes de enfermagem portugueses: resilientes e auto-eficazes<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n

This article highlights the beliefs of self-efficacy, understood as perceptions of personal capacity\u00a0that act as mediator between the student\u2019s capabilities and its performance. Self-efficacy is defined as the individual has confidence in their ability to perform a specific task, depending on internal and situational factors, such as previous experiences, the nature of the task or the degree of achievement of this article highlights the pares. It is also known a significant volume of interactions that make less clear the definition of variables that interfere with student performance. Resilience seems to act the way the student acquires skills for the confrontation with adversity, and is regarded as an individual variation in response to adversity, resulting from the operation of human adaptive systems.
\nThe results found strong correlation between perceived self-efficacy and resiliency, suggest the complementarity between these two genetics constructs carrying. This complementarity seem to produce less emotional costs associated to the prospect of change or confrontation with adversity, favouring the persistence to achieve a specific goal and a personal assessment more optimistic expectations for the future.
