Having as a primordial aim to make an investigation on the present\u00a0situation as to the relationship between the school and the family in the 2\u00ba and 3\u00ba cycles \u2013 From\u00a0five to nine years of schooling. This study tries to inquire into the expectations that parents and\u00a0teachers have about this relationship.<br \/>\nTo achieve this aim, this study is divided into two essential parts:<br \/>\n-The theoretical foundation with a thoroughly examination of some concepts such as Education-\u00a0Tuition, School-Family (their functions), Motivation, Satisfaction &#8211; Dissatisfaction, Participation and\u00a0Communication.<br \/>\nThe investigation in the field using two questionnaires ( one given to the teachers, the other to\u00a0the parents of these teacher\u2019s students).<br \/>\nThis investigation ends up with the comparison of the results obtained with the ones by other\u00a0authors, their respective conclusions and some reflections and interpretations.<br
